Welcome to the heart of canDID Expressions, where you will find life writing and art about daily life with trauma-based dissociation from those with lived experience.

Please comment on the writing and art below with what resonates with you and/or what you appreciate about the author’s submission.

If you would like to submit writing or art to be considered for publication on our site, use the “Submissions” button below.  Please note that this site is dedicated to the daily lived experiences of trauma-based dissociation.  Work containing graphic descriptions of traumatic situations will be declined.

Submission Guidelines
Art submissions are accepted in JPEG format, medium resolution, and free of watermarks.
Writing submissions are accepted in Word, 750 words or less, single spaced with no indentation, and one extra space between paragraphs.

All submissions  must be your original work,  have a title, and include your name or pen name at the end of your work.

Book reviews and author/artist interviews will be considered for our newsletter on a case-by-case basis.
